Absolutely loved the documentary 'Director by Night'.
Not your usual behind-the-scenes for 'Werewolf by Night'. Made by Michael Giacchino's brother Anthony, also a documentary filmmaker. This takes you back to their childhood and love of filmmaking. Some of their early super 8 films are just amazing, the stunts and attention to detail is just brilliant. I didn't have a video camera growing up - but if I had this would have been me. I had an audio recorder so created 'Radio Rachel' and I photographed everything that moved and I created my own mini theatre out of cardboard boxes and torches for spotlights. I have since made a couple of shorts though.
This is such a down-to-earth and inspiring documentary, featuring their parents, childhood friends and of course behind the scenes of the fantastic Werewolf by Night. If you haven't either yet - then watch ASAP. I'm about to go in for my third watch of Werewolf by Night!
