Glass Onion: Layer upon layer of laughs, surprises and intrigue!

I saw the first Knives Out at the cinema twice and have it on Blu-Ray. One of my favourite films, so many great quotes and performances.

So hearing about the follow up was very exciting! Was then slightly disappointed to hear it was going to straight to Netflix. I love cinema and these kind of films belong on the big screen. I'd of course be grateful to see it wherever, but there's nothing like the big screen experience, no other distractions (well, mostly...ahem, yes I mean YOU wrapper rustlers!). Then there was the announcement that it would make the big screen after all! Cue huge amounts of excitement, followed by a frantic search to find a local cinema. A very limited cinema release of a week proved a little tricky, so a drive over to Ipswich was required, which is around an hour or so. Really glad my friend and I made the trip!

Feel so lucky to have caught it on the big screen. Loved the Empire Cinema in Ipswich, complete with sofa seats! Able to watch in luxury too!

The film is just fantastic, if you like the first you'll love this. Craig is on form again as Benoit Blanc, leading us on a twisty-turny tale. A fantastic supporting cast including Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn. More than a few surprises kept me absorbed and laughing out loud. It has great lines, set design and it's a huge treat - an early Christmas present from Rian - thank you! No plot spoilers here, I'll leave you to unwrap that in December!

The only shame is that most will only view this at home on Netflix and not on the big screen where it truly belongs. Released end of December on Netflix or find a cinema in the next few days! I suggest cinema!
